1. Work Backward From Your Ceremony Time
Start with the ceremony start time and work backward: photography time, hair and makeup buffer, travel time between venues, and a cushion for the unexpected. Most wedding transportation timelines fall apart not because a car was late, but because the schedule around it never accounted for real Chicago traffic between the getting-ready location, the ceremony, and the reception.
2. Figure Out Who Actually Needs a Ride
Break the day into groups:
- The couple — usually a stretch limo or a luxury sedan/SUV for a more understated look.

5. Confirm the Details a Week Out
A week before the wedding, confirm pickup addresses, exact times, the day-of contact's phone number, and the final headcount per vehicle. Small changes — a getting-ready location that moved, a bridal party that grew — are easy to accommodate with notice and much harder the morning of.
